HOLLIS DUNLAP
Hollis Dunlap began painting the human figure at the onset of his career and has proved to be a true master of his medium. Inspired by Renaissance Masters, his work celebrates the true beauty of the human form and the endless possibilities that lie in rendering it on canvas. Dunlap’s still life paintings and landscapes also exhibit his keen ability to capture reality and translate it into something beautiful.
Hollis Dunlap was born 1977. He first began drawing the figure from live models in high school at St. Johnsbury Academy in Vermont. He continued his education at the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts in Connecticut, earning his BFA and studied briefly at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin.
